“First of all…it does the thing really well. What more could you want? Its got a blend, a single coil/humbucker switch, tone, level, sustain. It’s the most versatile tool I run in my chain. And it’ really affordable too.”

2. Electro-Harmonix – 80’s era Deluxe Memory Man Delay
“I really love delay a lot. I found a freshly posted Memory Man on Craigslist and I nabbed it for about $80 (@#$#!$!! from rest of podcast). I love this thing. It’s all scuffed up and still has the original IEC cable. It is running the MN3007 “bucket brigade” chip. It sounds soooo good.”

3. Pigtronix – Echolution 2 Deluxe Delay
“I’m not a fan of “menu diving”…I’m a big fan of modular effects but this is a great pedal. The Echolution II has 5 LED selector screens for each knob and buttons that allow you to select what you want the expression pedal to control, such as the time, repeats or modulation. It has options for everything and is MIDI capable.”
