What are your four ‘must-have’ pedals? That is what we ask our guests to share with you in our Four On the Floor podcast segment.
Aside from making great guitar and patch cables, Justin loves playing guitar. He knows what he likes and has taken the time to figure out what pedals are going to get the job done. If you are not familiar with Covenant Cables do yourself a favor and check them out. They gave us a fantastic interview too! You can hear the episode for yourself right here. Check out these choices for his Four On The Floor.
1. Paul Crowther – Hot Cake Overdrive
“I got this pedal a long time ago. It’s this super small pedal that goes from clean boost all the way to fuzz territory overdrive. It is super transparent and sounds amazing. They are not very common, but they have gotten more expensive over the years. ”

2. Rawkworks – The Light Overdrive V1
“This is a clone of the Klon Centaur. I have been using this version for a very long time because I really love the mid hump. I use it more are a clean boost and as a lead boost if needed. It is a really versatile pedal.”

3. Strymon – El Capistan
“Nothing beats this tape machine. It just sounds awesome. Not really more to say.”

4. Origin Effects – Cali 76 Compressor
“I have tried other compressors and never looked back. this has been on my board for about two years now. It is super silent so I don’t worry about the noise floor raising. you can go from super squished to barely being on to equal out your levels. Fantastic Pedal.”
