We’re a boutique guitar pedal company based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. We are comprised of family and friends, who together, build not only cool looking pedals, but pedals that have that special sound.
El Rey Effects was started by Jimmy Nielsen, a musician, engineer, and lover of all things WEIRD! Combining the three to bring a unique product to the music community and sharing his unique interests.
We also understand that most musicians out there don’t have the disposable income that other careers offer. Which is why one of our goals is to keep our products at an affordable level. There’s no reason you can’t get a great sounding and looking effect pedal at a reasonable price.
Our designs have been created to find that unique rich sound that most guitarists are looking for, topped off with a unique enclosure design that will make other guitarists in the audience marvel at your setup.
