Mery Get-get-guitar-stuff-mas! Santa is going to be busy with our wish list this year but our friends at Reverb.com are going to make it easy for him. The Knobs have selected some great gear we want to share with you and you can listen to the full episode as we go into detail about our list right here. We would love to hear what you want too!
1. Jared’s List
1. Fender Jazzmaster ’66 RI CIJ Blocks & Binding 2005-06
“I dig these. I don’t need to put big money into a vintage one, or rather, I don’t want Santa too, and these are pretty sweet. I want to test Jazzmaster pickups that I will be building too. I love the sound of these pickups, and I don’t have any offset guitars, so this will be a nice addition to my collection.”

2. Planet Waves GH Acoustic Guitar Humidifier
“I’ve got a lot of acoustic guitars, and I really should do a better job humidifying my guitars, especially in the winter when it is very dry because the dryness can warp the top and crack the finish and even crack at glued areas. These will work out great.”

3. Rattlesnake Cable Company 20′ Standard Cable with Nickel Neutrik Plugs
“I think Santa will have to drop by Hank Donovan’s house and snag some of his handmade cables. Some orange 20 footers. I know several people who play them, and they really like them. I’m a big guy, and my gear is in a tight area so I step all over my cables more often than I should. These will help protect them.”

4. Martin D-45 Acoustic Guitar
“This is a little pricey, but I have been a good boy this year. These are the top of the line production model, the step up from the working man’s guitar. My Dad always wanted one but never got one. So maybe Santa can make both our wishes come true.”

5. Vox AC15HW60 60th Anniversary Hand-Wired Amplifier
“I love vintage gear but when it comes to amps, I don’t to have a vintage one. I like the black with the purpley yellow grill so this reissue will be great. The white (Fawn) one would not work out because I would be eating some Cheetos and get the orange dust all over it or something.”

1. Tony’s List
1. Fender 099-2017-001 Vintage Catalog Lunchbox with Guitar Accessories
“I collect fender lunchboxes. Every year or so Fender releases a decorated lunchbox. I have alot, and I actually store my tubes in them! These are stuffed with all kinds of cool stuff when you buy them too!”
Check out the Fender 099-2017-001 Vintage Catalog Lunchbox with Guitar Accessories
2. Fender Telecaster guitar bookends
“These are actually fender guitars that have been split in two. Why? because they are guitar bookends!. (Jared says: Throw a set of those on my list too! These will be my number 6) ”
Check out the Fender Telecaster guitar bookends
3. Brand New Vox MV50 AC 50W Miniature Hybrid Tube Amp Head
“This little amp uses a really interesting new tube technology that allows it to come in a very small box. You will have to read the description of it because I am not a scientist. You can hook it up to just about any cabinet, and it will go go go!”

4.Marshall Mini Fridge 3.2 Cu Ft Refrigerator
“This is the coolest thing ever! (PUN intended).. you put things in it! To keep things cold! I’m not yelling! It would be cool to put a bulb in the switch to know its on.”

5. Guild JF30 12 String Acoustic Guitar
“I am a sucker for Guild guitars. I think they make some of the best acoustics out there. This is the “working man’s 12 string” so they are not terribly expensive. It is a jumbo body, so its loud and bassy and I love the sound. I’ve had a few before but have sold or traded them out, so I need a new one!”

6. Rickenbacker 381 1969 Mapleglo
“I’ve been EXTRA good this year, so I deserve this. It is the top of the line Ric with all the best everything. The maple figuring is incredible. I’m a sucker for checkerboard binding and this has it in spades. I love the German carve on the top too. Its just a beautiful instrument.”

1. Todd’s List
1. The Beatles Complete Scores
“Why not have every song by the Beatles? 210 to be exact. It has all the lyrics too, which is nice but hey we all know the words anyway right? Plus I don’t want to scare away Santa with the price of my first choice”
Check out the The Beatles Complete Scores
2. Roland GO:MIXER Audio Mixer 5-input Recording Interface
“This is great to do little demos on your iPhone with much more authentic sound than the mic on the phone. You can plug XLR cables from your mic or guitar or both (with an adapter). Its super light, and easy to use.”
Check out the Roland GO:MIXER Audio Mixer 5-input Recording Interface
3. Champion Leccy – The Fat Gett – Glitchy Harmonic Octave-Fuzz Handpainted
“Now, this is something I want on the look of the pedal alone. Unique look and sound. It is a “glitchy-harmonic-octave-fuzz”. This brand is having fun with these, and I dig it plus I love fuzz and…I love LIGHTNIng bolts!”
Check out the Champion Leccy – The Fat Gett – Glitchy Harmonic Octave-Fuzz Handpainted
4.Caroline Guitar Company – Shigeharu IC Fuzz + Octave
“This pedal has got tons of knobs and…it’s got a lightning bolt on it man! It comes with loads of options to tweak your sound, and it has an option for using an onboard momentary switch with I really dig. Do the right thing Santa!”
Check out the Caroline Guitar Company – Shigeharu IC Fuzz + Octave
5. Rock N Roll Relics – Jazz Bastard – Rare D’Allen’s
“This guitar is super cool. I like what this brand does with their guitars, most are more reliced, but this is a bit different. Its a cross between a Jazzmaster and a Telecaster. I don’t have an off-set guitar, and I want another telecaster soooo… blammo! It has aged nickel hardware which I dig. And I really like the orangey color too.”

6. Deimel Guitarworks Firestar Artist Edition “Berlin Tonight”
“This guitar stopped me in my digital tracks when I first saw it on Instagram. It is one of a kind. Frank Deimel hand builds these in Germany, and the art is by Kora Junger, a prominent German pop artist. It has his proprietary LesLee switch with makes it sound like its coming out of a Leslie rotating speaker. Let us not forget to mention the translucent pickguard and purple anodized tuners. It’s so punk. Check the listing to see all the pictures. It’s worth it!”
